Description:* Baden was a former sommer residence of Kaiser Franz I. and architecture is mostly from 1800. Now famous for SPA and for the wine in the surrounding

Route: Through town – Kurpark – Einöde- Waldandacht on Beethoven Weg (only in the shade of the woods) to Gumpoldskirchen. After lunch in Heurigen “Rotes Mäuerl” (by architect Adolf Loos) to Guntramsdorf Thallern

Meet: 9.50 Meidling Station near ticket office. Our train CJX 9 will leave at 10.04 from platform 1. You may take the train from other stations (fx. Hauptbahnhof at 9.53) and we sit in first waggon to get out in Baden at 10.16

Return: Ca. 17.30 / 18.00 Vienna

Cost: Public transport Vienna /train and Heurigen. Pls buy ticket from Vienna Stadtgrenze to Baden and back we will do it together.
