Description: Mayerling is now a monastery and was formerly the hunting castle of the
crownprince Rudolf where he commited suicide together with Mary Vetsera

Route: From Mayerling we will walk along the river Schwechat (Helenental) to Choleral Kapelle (lunch) and then to Baden

Meet: At 9.40 Meidling Station near ticket office. Our train S 2 will leave at 9.49 from platform 2. You may take S 2 from other stations (f.ex. Hauptbahnhof at 9.41) We will sit in first waggon and get out in Mödling at 10.06. Our bus to Mayerling nr. 265 will leave at 10.15 in front of the station (exit)

Return: Ca. 18.00 Vienna

Cost: Transport and lunch. Pls buy ticket from Stadtgrenze to Mayerling and back from Baden to Stadtgrenze at ca. 17.00 h
