Description: The Wachau, where the Danube river makes its way towards Vienna, is blanketed with vineyards and ornamented with cute villages and hills. We shall take the bicycle route either left or right side of the Danube.

Route: Melk – Spitz – Weißenkirchen – St. Michael – Dürnstein – Krems

Meet: At 9:50 a.m. Wien Westbahnhof (U3/U6), lower hall, near ticket office; train departs at 10:18; we should have enoug time to purchase tickets and to reserve spaces for bicycles in the train

Return: From Krems, trains to Vienna at 16:52, 17:52, arriving in Viennal (Heiligenstadt, Spittelau, Franz Josefs Bahnhof) one hour later.

Cost: Ca. EUR 20 per person incl. transport of bicycle, sharing Einfach Raus ticket, exact price depending on number of participants.
Please bring enough cash for train and Gasthaus.

Note: Please make sure that your bicycle is in good condition! Bring drink and snacks, rainwear; in case of bad weather (rain) the tour will be cancelled.
