Falkenstein + Naturpark Schwarzau im Gebirge

Description: First we climb a mountain from Schwarzau and then we walk in the Naturpark Schwarzau.

Route: From Schwarzau(618m) we climb Falkenstein (1011m) through a forest and along forstrassen. Afterwards we walk through the Naturpark with chamois and deer.

Meet: 8:20 a.m. Wien Hauptbahnhof ticket machines. Train leaves at 8:37 a.m.

Return: to Wien Hauptbahnhof 20:03

Cost: Train tickets (Euro 48.20 full fare plus bus Gutenstein-Schwarzau-Gutenstein) plus consumption in a gasthaus in Schwarzau

Note: wear good hiking boots, dress according to weather forecast and bring drinks and snacks.
