Description: This hike crosses the Rax from south to north. We will take the Göbl-Kühn Steig, which offers very nice views to the Preinerwand. The trail is partially exposed, so only join, if you are sure-footed and have a head for height. The rest over the Rax plateau is not difficult.
Please note, that that this hike can only be done in good and stable weather conditions.

Route: Preiner Gscheid – Waxriegelhaus – Göbl-Kühn-Steig – Neue Seehütte (lunch) – Seeweg – Berggasthof – Cable car to Hirschwang

Meet: 7:20 Bahnhof Wien Meidling, train Cityjet Xpress 9 leaves at 7:35

Return: 18:30 Wien Meidling

Cost: train, lunch, cable car down: € 22.- full price, 20.- for senior, Alpenverein, Öamtc
