Description: At 1000 m there is beautiful nature and tradtitional recreation area with great views and breathtaking panorama

Route: From Semmering station we will go on the promenade with a sort of museums stops, passing old hotels like Südbahnhotel, Panhans etc. to Passhöhe and then down through the woods to Maria Schutz where we will have lunch in Gasthof Klosterwirt. Also visit of the famous pilgrims church Then down to Schottwien from where we will take bus back.

Meet: At 8.50 Meidling Station near ticket office. Our train RJ 71 (Direction Graz) will leave at 9.05 (From Haupt- bahnhof 8.58) We get out Semmering at 10.13

Return: Ca. 17.30 Vienna

Cost: Train and Lunch. Please take return ticket Semmering and press on “Tagesticket” because then bus is free
