Description: 2 day hike with many highlights (this time with the Mariazellerbahn, not the Bus ;-))
- wonderful view of Mariazellerland and beyond
- Vorderötscherhütte: lying peacefully below the impressive Ötscher
- Ötschergräben: crystal clear river in beautiful canyon
- power station Wienerbruck: built 1910, one of the first and at the time largest water driven power station in Central Europe, possibility to visit the small museum including view of still working generators

Route: Mariazell up the Gemeindealpe and down to Vorderötscherhütte, sleep in hut (Matratzenlager) or in tent (bring your own tent), next day hike through the Ötschergräben to the power station Wienerbruck, along the Erlauf to Gösing, Mariazell bahn back home

Return: 20th July evening at HBF Vienna, dtf

Cost: transport, food, drinks, hut € 45,- (incl. Breakfast)

Registration: until latest 13th June, deposit of € 5,- will be required – max 10. participants (already incl. max. 4 tents)

Note: if you want, bring your own tent, bear in mind you have to carry it for 2 days and climbs are high and strenuous, even without tent
