Description: 3 day hike; appr. walking distances day1: 10k, day2: 20k, day3: 10k , so ca. 40K alltogether (Mariazellerland and Türnitzer alpen, nothing very steep, but lots of ups and downs: alltogether around 2k ascention AND 2k descent in 3 days) 2 overnight stays on mountain huts in multiple bunk-bed rooms (bring slippers and sleepingbag-lining “Hüttenschlafsack”); bring snack lunch for day1;
equipment: mountain boots, gaiters might be useful (snow will have melted, it might be muddy), water bottle, rain gear, durable/sporty trousers and jacket, toiletries, t-shirts, sweat shirts, pullovers and underwear to change, hiking poles are suggested, extra socks, gloves, hood/hat, scarf, sunlotion, small torch

Route: day1: Erlaufklause (station of Mariazellerbahn) to Berggasthof Bürgeralpe (we eat supper, sleep and have breakfast here) > day2: Berggasthof Bürgeralpe via Wuchtlwirtin at Hubertussee (we eat lunch here) to Annaberger Haus near Tirolerkogel (we eat supper, sleep and have breakfast here) > day3: Annaberger Haus to Türnitz (snacklunch) and back to Vienna via bus and train

Return: 21. April 2025 – around 18:00 at Hbf Vienna

Cost: for sleeping 2 nights, 2 breakfasts, 2 suppers, 1 lunch – around € 170,- (around € 140,- if you have öbb reduction and a mountaineering club membership)
