Description: A beautiful hike between two huts, crossing the Bodenwiese with views of the Schneeberg. The route involves almost 900 meters of ascent and descent. Good physical condition is required, as the walk covers 17.1 km and includes some steep sections.

Route: A hike from Payerbach-Reichenau Bhf to Waldburgangerhütte, across the Bodenwiese to Knofelebenhaus, and back to Payerbach-Reichenau Bhf.

Meet: We will meet at Wien Hbf at 08:38 and take the CJX 9 at 08:53. The journey from Vienna takes approximately 1 hour and 12 minutes.

Return: Either at 18:00 or 19:00, depending on the length of the lunch break & time spent at the hütte.

Cost: Train tickets and lunch.

Registration: Please register by the evening of June 13th.

Note: Bring your own lunch. We will stop at the hut for drinks and sweets. Hiking poles and proper hiking shoes are required.
