Description: A romantic winter hike planned for Valentine’s Day weekend, starting in Wien Hütteldorf and ending in Unterkirchbach, en route to Tulln an der Donau.

Route: Wien Hütteldorf – Schutzenberg – Unterkirchbach.

Meet: We will meet at Wien Hütteldorf Bahnhof (in the manhole, on the north side) at 09:45 and begin the hike at 10:00.

Return: We’ll take bus 415 (or 445) from Unterkirchbach to St. Andrä-Wördern Bahnhof, then the S40 (or S45) to Vienna, arriving around 16:00 (or 17:15), depending on the lunch break and our ability to catch the bus.

Cost: Vienna public transport ticket: required for both directions. Return ticket: €5.20 (or €2.80 with a Vienna public transport ticket).

Registration: By the evening of February 14.

Note: Bring your own lunch. (We may stop for an evening drink at Restaurant Marienhof.)
