Kaiserbrunn Wasserleitungsmuseum - Wasserleitungsweg

Description: This is the trip that was originally planned for 25 August, but had to be canclled.
We shall visit the source of our excellent water in Vienna. Emperor Karl VI (early 18th cent.) had his water delivered from the source located between Raxalpe and Schneeberg (by horse).. We shall visit the museum and then walk for 3-4 hours to Payerbach.
*PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PATH BETWEEN KAISERBRUNN AND HIRSCHWANG IS, ON SOME SHORT SECTIONS, A LITTLE “SLOPING” AND REQUIRES SOME SUREFOOTEDNESS. GOOD BOOTS WITH A PROFILE ARE RECOMMENDED. FROM HIRSCHWANG TO PAYERBACH THERE IS A ROAD (WITHOUT TRAFFIC) THAT CORRESPONDS TO AN A HIKE.
